Social & Communications Senior Specialist

About the role

The Senior Social & Communications Specialist will join Colgate‑Palmolive’s Integrated Marketing team in New York. This leader will partner with brand teams to craft compelling, culturally‑relevant storytelling that drives awareness, loyalty and emotional connection across earned, owned and paid social channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an integrated social media strategy focused on trend‑driven, in‑culture content.
• Lead the creation of organic feed content and paid‑creator assets for priority channels.
• Produce weekly high‑velocity “Discovery Page”‑style content in collaboration with the creative agency.
• Identify and activate new opportunities around product launches, tentpoles and cultural moments.
• Guide creative direction of social assets, ensuring alignment with current social trends.
• Develop thought‑leadership materials that highlight cultural trends and their impact on brand growth.
• Manage agency and supplier resources for day‑to‑day trend‑content and paid‑social creator execution.
• Monitor emerging platforms, creators and trends, testing innovative approaches to meet channel KPIs.
