About the role

The Skilled Tradesman – Electrician will join the Physical Plant team at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton. Working under the Physical Plant Director, the electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and control devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure reliable operation.
• Diagnose electrical issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Follow departmental procedures, safety standards, and institutional policies.
• Adapt work hours to meet the college’s operational needs.

Required profile

• Experience in electrical trade work, preferably in an institutional or campus setting.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow detailed instructions.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
