About the role
Infosys is seeking a ServiceNow ITOM Specialist to join its Financial Services unit in Hartford, CT. The role is part of the Infrastructure Consultant 2 career track and focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting ServiceNow IT Operations Management solutions for global financial institutions.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, conduct root‑cause analyses and document preventive recommendations.
- Evaluate client IT infrastructure, prepare assessment reports and support due‑diligence activities to identify maturity gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Design scalable, cost‑effective IT infrastructure solutions, develop technical documentation and manage reusable components.
- Coordinate release schedules, execute deployments, perform post‑deployment testing and maintain version control.
- Conduct security checks, recovery drills and compliance audits, implementing security measures and continuity plans.
Required profile
- Collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle complex incidents and deliver effective resolutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship.
Required skills
- ServiceNow ITOM modules – Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration.
- CSDM framework and CMDB implementation, including MID Server configuration and Discovery Patterns.
- Integration and discovery of AWS, Azure, and GCP resources within ServiceNow CMDB.
- Python scripting for automation and tooling.
- Cloud infrastructure concepts and networking knowledge.
- AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and ServiceNow AI assistants.
- Windows and Unix administration, PowerShell and Bash scripting.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – any ITOM application (strongly desired).
- Integration experience with SOAP, REST, JSON, JDBC and file imports.
