Service Technician – Preventive Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to perform scheduled preventive maintenance on a variety of security and access‑control equipment for our customers in Vallejo, CA. The role combines hands‑on technical work with strong customer interaction to ensure reliable operation of automated doors and related systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspection, adjustment, cleaning and calibration of equipment and systems under contract.
• Promote and maintain good customer relationships, supporting contract retention.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry developments, new products and technology.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED and a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Associate’s degree in an electrical, mechanical or industrial field is preferred (training provided if needed).
• Experience in construction, electrical work, or servicing automated doors, glazing, door frames, and reading blue‑prints is advantageous.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
