Service Technician – Automotive Repair

About the role

The Service Technician will join Nissan Newport News to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of Nissan vehicles. This full‑time, onsite position requires strong technical expertise and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Test‑drive vehicles to evaluate performance and confirm repairs.
• Complete repair orders, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate findings to Service Advisors.
• Execute warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
