Service Supervisor – Co/Relate West Adams Student Living

About the role

The Service Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the Co/Relate West Adams student living community meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This position combines technical, mechanical, and supervisory duties to keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage work orders from resident service requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Develop and enforce standards for the cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, unit interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, parking lots, and other common areas.
• Periodically inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications, and create corrective action plans as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, collaborating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budgetary limits.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.

Required profile

• Experience managing work orders, coordinating maintenance activities, and supervising service staff or contractors.
• Ability to conduct inspections, assess quality of work, and develop corrective actions.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory control, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and preventative maintenance practices.
