Job description
About the role
The Senior Service Technician ensures that all physical aspects of the Villas at 6300 property—including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality. The role involves responding to resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.
Key responsibilities

- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspection.
- Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
- Document service requests accurately and timely for proper tracking.
- Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting as needed.
- Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and minimizing material waste.
- Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training and report incidents promptly.
- Inspect contractor work to verify quality, scope and specifications.
Required profile
- EPA certifications Type I, II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
- All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
- Valid driver’s license (for golf‑cart operation where applicable).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
Required skills

- Refrigerant recycling certification.

- Competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.51 to $25.21.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance.
- Generous paid time off, including vacation, personal, sick days and holidays.
- On‑site housing discount at Greystar‑managed communities (subject to availability).
- 401(k) plan with company match up to 6% of pay.
- 6‑week paid sabbatical after 10 years of service and additional sabbaticals every 5 years.
- Paid parental leave and lifetime fertility benefit reimbursement up to $10,000.
