Senior Recruitment Consultant – Insurance & Banking

About the role

We are looking for a senior recruitment consultant to lead end‑to‑end hiring for our insurance, banking and regulated‑market clients in New York. The role combines delivery of high‑quality talent with the development of new client relationships, positioning you as a subject‑matter expert in a specialised vertical.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy qualification to placement and post‑placement follow‑up.
• Conduct client intake calls, define hiring requirements and provide market intelligence.
• Source candidates through proactive networking, headhunting, talent mapping and maintain accurate shortlists.
• Manage interview coordination, feedback, offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and act as a subject‑matter expert in insurance, banking or other regulated sectors.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, expand existing accounts and generate additional vacancies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in the CRM and ATS, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Support and mentor junior team members where required.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering recruitment services for insurance, banking or regulated‑market clients.
• Commercially minded with a track record of developing client relationships and generating new business.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to become a recognised subject‑matter expert in a chosen market vertical.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM and ATS platforms.
