Senior Quantitative Developer

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Quantitative Developer to collaborate with portfolio management, analysts, operations and technology teams. The role focuses on building data pipelines, developing analytical tools, and supporting cloud migration initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines to gather and normalize data from multiple sources into the team’s data warehouse.
• Develop user‑friendly GUI front‑ends for non‑technical team members to access application functionality.
• Lead the migration of data to a cloud‑based Snowflake environment, ensuring data integrity.
• Automate existing processes using Python and R to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Debug and enhance legacy processes written in Excel VBA, Python, R, and other tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Quantitative/Computational Finance or a related quantitative field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a quantitative analyst/developer handling large datasets (1 million+ rows) and creating ETL processes.
• Minimum 1 year of experience applying portfolio management theory and working with asset‑management products.
