Senior Project Manager – Healthcare EHR Implementation

About the role

IDR is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex electronic health record (EHR) implementation projects for a top healthcare technology client. This remote position focuses on migrating data from AdvancedMD to Canvas or other modern, API‑forward systems while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end EHR implementation projects, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including technical and clinical staff, to ensure successful system rollouts.
• Lead complex data migrations involving platforms such as Canvas, AvonHealth, Healthier, and AdvancedMD.
• Apply Agile methodologies using Jira and Confluence to streamline workflows.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and provide leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Required profile

• 10+ years of project management experience, specifically in healthcare IT.
• Proven track record of delivering 8‑10 EHR implementation projects.
• Deep knowledge of EHR systems and data migration complexities.
• Strong expertise in Agile project management and related tools.
