Senior Materials Planner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Material Planner to enhance our materials planning and procurement processes. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing material usage, driving efficiency, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams to support operational success.

Key responsibilities

• Own the material planning function and align day‑to‑day processes with company objectives.
• Develop and execute strategies to optimize material usage and improve procurement efficiency.
• Analyze material usage versus planned metrics and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Partner with engineering to integrate new products and materials into planning systems.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to materials planning systems to streamline procurement.
• Leverage MRP tools and data‑driven methodologies to improve supply‑chain performance.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and meet KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in materials planning, procurement, or supply‑chain management; leadership experience preferred.
• Expertise in MRP systems and strong understanding of supply‑chain principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience implementing system enhancements and driving efficiency.
