Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning & S&OP

About the role

Alcon is seeking a senior leader to drive demand planning and S&OP governance across the enterprise. The role ensures that product delivery is efficient, reliable, and aligned with commercial, finance, and supply‑chain objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Set direction and govern the demand‑planning component of the S&OP process, establishing disciplined inputs and consistent enterprise outputs.
• Lead enterprise demand analytics, translating trends, forecast accuracy, bias and volatility into actionable improvements.
• Provide executive insights on demand‑plan changes, quantifying drivers, risks and trade‑offs for supply, inventory, service and financial performance.
• Establish governance for planning master data, ensuring standards, ownership and data quality across functions.
• Partner with Commercial and Finance to align on demand drivers, promotions, portfolio changes and financial assumptions.
• Lead governance of new‑product‑launch demand within S&OP, aligning stakeholders on assumptions and evaluating scenarios.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in demand planning, S&OP or supply‑chain leadership.
• Strong analytical rigor combined with business judgment.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and senior executives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
