Senior Manager, Global Retail Training & Communications

About the role

Deckers Brands is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the global retail learning strategy for its UGG and HOKA brands. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Retail Operations, you will shape how retail teams acquire knowledge, ensuring consistent, high‑impact experiences across markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the multi‑year global retail learning vision, roadmap and operating model.
• Translate business priorities into scalable learning solutions covering service, product, selling, operations, leadership, onboarding and transformation initiatives.
• Design mobile‑first, micro‑learning and short‑form video journeys, incorporating scenario practice, peer learning and live facilitation.
• Develop reusable standards, templates and toolkits to accelerate high‑quality content creation.
• Manage learning technology and vendor relationships, including LMS and content‑creation platforms.
• Oversee the global content calendar, intake process, governance and lifecycle management.
• Measure learning effectiveness through participation data, performance metrics and learner feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading learning and development initiatives for retail or consumer‑facing organizations.
• Strong ability to partner with cross‑functional and regional teams to align learning with business goals.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience using learner feedback and performance data to prioritize solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
