Senior Manager, Event Security

About the role

Player 15 Group is looking for an experienced Senior Manager to lead event security across NBA, WNBA, concerts, family shows and private events. You will be responsible for safeguarding guests, staff and assets while ensuring compliance with league and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of event security operations, including deployment, response and communications for each event profile.
• Develop and execute event‑specific security plans in coordination with event management, team operations, tour security and public safety agencies.
• Serve as the senior point of contact for security‑related incidents and emergencies.
• Recruit, manage and supervise full‑time and part‑time security staff, fostering a high‑performing, safety‑focused team.
• Ensure compliance with NBA, WNBA and industry security standards; conduct scenario‑based training for emergency situations.
• Design and implement ongoing training programs covering crowd management, de‑escalation, access control and arena policies.
• Collaborate with Operations, Guest Services and Event Management to align security with overall event execution.
• Assist in developing arena‑wide emergency action plans and SOPs; prepare post‑event reports on performance and incidents.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive management experience in sports, entertainment or public venues.
• Deep understanding of NBA/WNBA security standards and operational intricacies.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale security teams and training programs.
• Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills with high emotional intelligence.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
