Senior Leasing Professional – SkyMor Durham Farms

About the role

The Senior Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for the SkyMor Durham Farms community, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention. This role involves full‑cycle leasing activities and resident satisfaction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, credit and background checks, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any outstanding maintenance tasks.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other platforms.
• Utilize property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Support lease renewal efforts by preparing renewal packages, contacting residents ahead of move‑out dates, and ensuring timely execution of renewal documents.

Required profile

• All state and local licenses or certifications required for leasing professionals.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite property‑management software.
• Proficiency with Yardi property‑management software.
• Experience using internet marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Ability to manage email marketing campaigns.
