Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

Clinically AI is scaling a healthcare AI platform that reduces clinician burnout by automating documentation, compliance, and audit workflows. The Senior Full‑Stack Engineer will own end‑to‑end features, design fast and secure systems, and translate clinical pain points into AI‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full stack, from a browser‑extension UI to cloud‑native services and infrastructure.
• Architect systems that are fast, secure, and built for growth.
• Partner with product and clinical teams to solve real‑world problems with AI.
• Develop independently in ephemeral environments that eliminate merge conflicts.
• Mentor other engineers and help shape engineering culture.
• Explore, test, and ship new ideas with velocity.

Required profile

• Full‑Stack Ownership – fluid movement between frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Pragmatic Architecture – design fast, secure systems without over‑engineering.
• AI‑Native Problem Solving – identify where AI can cut clinician busywork.
• Startup Velocity – ship, iterate, and course‑correct quickly.
• Technical Leadership – raise the bar through code, reviews, and example.
• Clear Communication – translate technical trade‑offs for product and clinical stakeholders.

Required skills

• 6+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience building and maintaining browser extensions.
• Hands‑on with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Strong background in enterprise‑grade RESTful APIs and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem‑solving and architectural planning abilities.
