Senior AI Research Scientist – World Model

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Research Scientist to lead the World Model research within Bosch’s Foundation Model Powered AI Enablers group. The role is based in Sunnyvale and focuses on developing scalable, trustworthy AIoT solutions for a range of Bosch products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement world‑model architectures and foundation models for AI‑driven applications such as autonomous driving, robotics and smart manufacturing.
• Conduct large‑scale data analytics on multimodal data (audio, images, sensor logs) and develop visual analytics tools.
• Collaborate with academic and industry partners to publish research in top AI conferences and journals.
• Contribute to explainable AI methods and ensure transparency of AI systems.
• Drive AI system engineering, cloud robotics integration and time‑series analysis pipelines.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning or related field.
• Strong publication record in top venues such as CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICCV or similar.
• Experience leading research projects in foundation models, computer vision, natural language processing or related domains.
