Senior Account Associate - Commercial Insurance

About the role

The Senior Account Associate provides administrative and customer‑service support to the account team, producers and assigned commercial insurance accounts. Working under the direction of an Account Manager, Account Executive or Producer, you will ensure production and quality standards are met while independently resolving moderately complex client issues.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in directing day‑to‑day activities of support staff and account assistants.
• Track policy expirations, process renewals and manage endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements and related documentation.
• Conduct client research, gather underwriting information, perform loss‑run analysis and prepare submissions for new and renewal business.
• Evaluate and negotiate coverages and pricing, prepare proposals, bind coverage and follow up for policy issuance.
• Review contracts to confirm appropriate coverages are included.
• Monitor accounts receivable, pursue delinquent balances and manage finance agreements.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier platforms with accurate data.
• Ensure timely completion of activity and suspense items.
• Communicate workload status and issues transparently to the account team.
• Deliver proactive, high‑quality service and continuously seek process improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial insurance account support or a similar role.
• Ability to resolve moderately complex customer service problems independently.
• Strong organizational, detail‑orientation and communication skills.
• Comfort working remotely within Eastern or Central Time Zones with a dedicated, distraction‑free workspace.
