Security Analyst - Tier 2

About the role

As a Tier 2 Security Analyst at 7AI, you will validate AI‑driven investigations, investigate malicious activity, and hunt emerging threats across customer environments. You will work directly with SOC analysts, CISOs, and other stakeholders to triage alerts, resolve incidents, and help shape the evolving security operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and validate AI Agent investigations for accuracy, completeness, and risk.
• Correlate data from cloud, endpoint, identity, and network sources to reconstruct attack narratives.
• Investigate malicious activity detected by agents and assess the prevented risk.
• Use AI agents to hunt for emerging threats and feed findings back into product detections.
• Assist customers with threat monitoring, alert prioritization, and incident response.
• Review logs and telemetry to proactively spot anomalies.
• Communicate findings to technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to refine the AI platform.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in security operations.
• Comfortable with on‑call weekend shifts as needed.
• Hands‑on experience investigating alerts across endpoint, network, identity, email, and cloud sources.
• Strong understanding of XDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and IDP tools.
• Familiarity with log and telemetry concepts and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities to verify AI‑driven analysis.
• Experience querying SIEM data using SPL, KQL, FQL, or SQL.
• Knowledge of malware analysis methods and incident handling.
