About the role
The Salt Company Male Resident is a full‑time staff position at Cornerstone, reporting to Tony Lee. The role focuses on discipleship, mentoring students, and active participation in church‑related events and training.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in all Salt & Cornerstone events and meetings.
- Be authentic and teachable in weekly staff discipleship sessions.
- Meet a new student every Thursday night and engage with 6‑7 students each week, ensuring at least half are non‑leaders.
- Achieve 90% or higher on the monthly leader name test.
- Raise and maintain $1,500 of monthly financial support.
- Participate in Cornerstone Equipping Options and theological training.
- Lead two weekly D‑Group sessions (8‑10 students each).
- Support a minor team such as Freshmen, Global, C‑Group, or Church Planting.
- Teach a Gospel 101 class in the spring (for second‑year residents).
- Complete two outside preaching/ministry assignments each fall and spring.
- Attend Cornerstone ministry events like camps, conferences, and classes.
- Visit a network church or Salt Company (maximum one visit).
- Take part in a Salt Network Vision Trip.
- Host or attend a student connection group.
