About the role

Santander is seeking a Sales and Service Banker to join its Canal Street branch in New York. In this customer‑focused position you will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients meet their financial goals while delivering a high‑quality banking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized banking, lending and investment solutions based on customers’ needs.
• Process teller transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers and cash handling.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and refer customers to appropriate products or partners.
• Educate clients on digital banking tools and promote self‑service options.
• Collaborate with branch teammates to achieve sales targets and overall branch performance.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and fraud‑prevention standards.
• Support nearby branches when business needs arise.
