About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking an Inbound Router Supervisor for its Odessa, TX Service Center. This full‑time position works Monday‑Friday on various shifts and offers a salary between $68,000 and $72,000 per year. The role focuses on managing dock and dispatch operations to ensure efficient freight handling.
Key responsibilities
- Manage driver and freight handler teams.
- Coordinate dock operations and schedule drivers/freight handlers.
- Maintain safety compliance across all activities.
- Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed.
- Dispatch LTL loads in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.
Required profile
- Proven basic leadership experience.
- Ability to lead in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organizational, communication and logistical skills with solid problem‑solving abilities.
- Knowledge of quality freight handling (preferred).
- Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with Odessa and surrounding areas.
- Prior LTL leadership experience (strongly preferred).
