Resident Services Coordinator – The Octagon

About the role

The Resident Services Coordinator supports prospective and current tenants by delivering high‑quality customer service and coordinating community activities at The Octagon property. This role works closely with property staff to ensure a smooth, enjoyable living experience for all residents.

Key responsibilities

• Orient new residents, assist with utility set‑up, and manage package deliveries and claim reminders.
• Develop and publish the property newsletter featuring events, services, and advertisements.
• Handle resident issues such as neighbor disputes, maintenance requests, and general inquiries; prepare incident reports as required.
• Schedule and manage clubhouse or activity‑center rentals, maintain contracts, and collect fees.
• Maintain guest suites, provide amenities (movies, books, games), and ensure they are rental‑ready.
• Process maintenance work orders, follow up with residents for satisfaction, and compile weekly maintenance reports.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness, reporting repair needs to maintenance staff.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize resident requests, and work independently.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lb; comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
