Leasing Professional – Oriana

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional for the Oriana community in New York. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process and ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout their tenancy.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure units are ready for new residents.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain resident and prospect data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering a seamless leasing experience.
• Knowledge of local rental market trends and competitive positioning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
• Experience using Yardi or similar leasing platforms.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
