Reliability Engineer

About the role

The Reliability Engineer provides engineering support to the site Maintenance and Operations teams, ensuring that infrastructure, processes and equipment meet production reliability targets. The role covers a range of programs including mechanical integrity, rotating equipment, vibration analysis, chiller and cooling‑tower reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve reliability programs for plant assets, enforcing engineering standards.
• Collect and analyse maintenance data to identify failure rates, modes and predict future failures.
• Design and quantify reliability improvement projects, calculate payback and drive cost reductions.
• Investigate major equipment failures, perform root‑cause analysis and develop corrective action plans.
• Maintain master equipment data, preventive‑maintenance schedules and support capital‑project design reviews.
• Perform financial analysis of repairs and programs to support budgeting.
• Collaborate with operational customers and maintenance personnel to ensure project scope, schedule and budget are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs and industry codes.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional project teams.
• Strong communication, influencing and time‑management skills.
