Regional Property Manager – San Diego & Inland Empire

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of rental communities across San Diego and the Inland Empire. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, financial performance, and tenant satisfaction while leading on‑site property teams.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect properties, review financial and operational reports, and implement action plans to meet performance goals.
• Collaborate with community managers and regional support services to improve asset and team performance.
• Manage budgets, prepare regular performance reports, and present findings to ownership and senior leadership.
• Develop and execute tenant retention programs, oversee leasing strategies, and maintain optimal occupancy rates.
• Ensure properties comply with all local, state, and federal regulations and implement preventative maintenance plans.

Required profile

• 2+ years of regional property manager experience (minimum 3 years relevant experience).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
• Proven leadership experience managing diverse property portfolios.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and team‑management skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of real‑estate laws, regulations, and market trends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Yardi, RealPage).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Experience with database‑management applications.
