About the role
The Central Regional Business Manager will lead 3M Scott Fire and Safety’s growth in the Central United States. Reporting to the National Fire Manager, you will partner with field specialists and service technicians to expand market share and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional plan to strengthen relationships with fire‑service customers across the Central US.
- Collaborate with the National Fire Sales Manager, Fire Channel Manager, and other Regional Business Managers to ensure a consistent approach with key accounts.
- Drive service programs that deliver after‑sales support and generate future sales opportunities.
- Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets for the Central team while optimizing field productivity.
- Leverage division tools such as Salesforce.com, Sales Aid, Sales Navigator, and category management to improve sales efficiency.
- Support onboarding, training, and competency development for direct reports.
- Identify cross‑functional collaboration opportunities with product and technical service teams.
- Take on special projects and maintain awareness of competitive trends.
Required profile
- Experience transitioning from private, public, government or military sectors to a commercial sales environment.
- Proven ability to lead a sales team and achieve revenue goals.
- Strong collaboration skills across regions and functional groups.
- Willingness to manage special projects and adapt to evolving market conditions.
