Quality Assurance Supervisor – New York City

About the role

Prime is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead its Quality Management System (QMS) for cosmetic and OTC products in New York City. You will ensure manufacturing compliance with FDA regulations, cGMPs, and ISO standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in line with FDA, cGMP, and ISO requirements.
• Oversee deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and root‑cause investigations.
• Manage document control, approval of quality records, and quality metrics.
• Lead and support FDA inspections, customer audits, and third‑party audits.
• Provide QA oversight for manufacturing, packaging, labeling, and warehouse operations.
• Partner with Operations to ensure GMP compliance and product quality.
• Support validation, supplier quality, and material qualification activities.
• Mentor and develop the QA team and deliver training programs.
• Handle customer complaints, investigations, and corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field.
• 5+ years of QA experience in cosmetics, OTC, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMPs, and ISO standards.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
