Pub Shift Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead one of Seattle’s busiest pubs. The role focuses on delivering service excellence, managing operations, and mentoring a diverse team in a fast‑paced stadium environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach and inspire 5–35 hourly employees per shift, including scheduling and leading pre‑shift huddles.
• Oversee labor percentages, COGS, inventory, ordering and forecasting to keep the pub prepared for high demand.
• Ensure beverage quality by supervising draft system operations such as keg swaps, gas ratios and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a welcoming presence for guests and provide mentorship and support to team members.
• Monitor and uphold cleanliness, lighting, music and overall ambience to deliver a consistent guest experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of management experience in food & beverage.
• Strong people skills with the ability to keep shifts fun and staff engaged.
• Hospitality mindset – enjoys interacting with guests on the floor.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Required skills

• Draft system operation (keg swaps, gas ratios, troubleshooting).
• Inventory and ordering management.
