Project Manager - Steel Fabrication

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead custom steel fabrication projects from award through completion, ensuring safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery of pressure vessels, piping systems, OEM fabrications, structural components, and other heavy‑industrial steel work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage fabrication projects from kickoff through final delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality control, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and production milestones.
• Handle change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Communicate regularly with customers regarding status and deliverables.
• Work closely with shop personnel to meet production goals.
• Coordinate material procurement, subcontractors, and outside vendors as needed.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Required profile

• 5+ years of project management experience in steel fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy industrial construction.
• Experience with vessel fabrication, pipe fabrication, OEM manufacturing, or related custom steel projects.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, specifications, and welding documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
