About the role
The Program Manager for Living Wage Compliance & Capital Projects supports Georgetown University’s mission by overseeing high‑quality campus capital projects while ensuring adherence to living‑wage labor standards. Reporting to the Planning and Capital Projects department, this role acts as a bridge between internal teams, contractors, and university policies.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Georgetown’s living‑wage program, aligning requirements with applicable regulations and ordinances.
- Educate and guide external vendors on living‑wage standards, documentation, and audit expectations.
- Conduct site visits, review records, and facilitate corrective actions to ensure compliance.
- Manage capital projects from planning, procurement, and design through bidding, construction, and close‑out.
- Coordinate project teams—including clients, consultants, contractors, O&M staff, and university personnel—to meet budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Secure project approvals, perform design reviews, and conduct site inspections.
- Develop reports, presentations, and support master‑planning efforts using design and planning software.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of living‑wage regulations and construction compliance.
- Proven experience managing multi‑disciplinary capital projects in an academic or large‑institution setting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Ability to train internal teams and external vendors on policy implementation.
Required skills
- Proficiency with design and planning software.
