Program Coordinator – Youth Services (Part-Time)

About the role

exalt youth is looking for a dynamic, part‑time Program Coordinator to guide young people ages 15‑19 who have been involved in the criminal justice system. The coordinator will oversee three program cycles per year, supporting participants from intake through internships and helping them achieve lasting behavioral change.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interview, assessment and selection of youth referrals.
• Manage the full program cycle, including outreach, pre‑assessments, and ongoing monitoring.
• Develop individualized growth plans based on class participation and strengths.
• Collaborate with the Court Liaison team to identify eligible participants for ATI services.
• Work with classroom teachers to align learning with outcomes such as reduced justice involvement, school persistence, and employability.
• Hold weekly meetings with lead teachers to review cycle health and student progress.
• Provide regular one‑on‑one support to participants throughout the program.

• Ability to work flexibly in both onsite Manhattan office/classroom and remote settings.
