Professional Designer – Fully Remote

About the role

Mercurial is seeking experienced design professionals to work remotely on AI research projects. This contract role offers flexible hours (15+ hours per week) and a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate product designs and taste preferences using professional expertise.
• Create graphics, documents, and other visual assets for internal and external use.
• Utilize Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite to produce high‑quality designs.
• Work efficiently with Slides, Sheets, Docs, and PDFs.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to improve design quality.
• Manage tasks independently and meet asynchronous deadlines.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in English.
• Professional experience with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Based in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada.
