About the role

Mercurial is seeking experienced design professionals to work remotely on AI research projects. This contract role offers flexible hours (15+ hours per week) and a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

Evaluate product designs and taste preferences using professional expertise.
Create graphics, documents, and other visual assets for internal and external use.
Utilize Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite to produce high‑quality designs.
Work efficiently with Slides, Sheets, Docs, and PDFs.
Collaborate with AI research teams to improve design quality.
Manage tasks independently and meet asynchronous deadlines.

Required profile

Native or near‑native proficiency in English.
Professional experience with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
Based in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada.
