Production Operator – Diesel Fuel Systems

About the role

Join Bosch's Kentwood, MI facility as a Production Operator supporting the precision manufacturing and re‑manufacturing of diesel fuel systems for the rail industry. You will work 8‑hour shifts on the 2nd or 3rd shift, contributing directly to product quality and supply‑chain efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machines that manufacture and re‑manufacture diesel fuel components.
• Perform final assembly, part sorting, tear‑down, washing and related tasks following process documentation.
• Record daily production data and complete online Statistical Process Control (SPC) charting.
• Conduct basic maintenance, troubleshoot minor equipment issues, and ensure machine functionality.
• Follow safety protocols, keep the workspace clean and organized, and support additional production goals as directed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift and overtime, including Saturdays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lb up to 20 times per hour.
• U.S. work authorization; no future sponsorship available.

Required skills

• Statistical Process Control (SPC) charting.
