About the role

The Production Coordinator will support the end‑to‑end production process for home accessories, focusing on paper products such as stationery and celebration goods. Working closely with design, sales, factories and logistics, you will ensure products are developed, manufactured and delivered on time and to specification.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage order processing and track production timelines from overseas factories through delivery to distribution centers.
  • Act as primary liaison between internal teams, factories and logistics partners, providing clear status updates.
  • Partner with design and sales on product development to ensure alignment with brand and customer requirements.
  • Review vendor manuals and retailer compliance guidelines and communicate requirements to factories.
  • Coordinate sample development, maintain sample inventory and documentation.
  • Assist shipping and logistics operations, monitor shipment status and validate international shipping documentation.
  • Prepare documentation for domestic deliveries and support EDI compliance.
  • Collaborate with accounting to review invoices, purchase orders and factory billings; submit supplier invoices weekly.
  • Maintain production timelines, work‑in‑progress tracking and forecasting tools; identify risks and propose solutions.

Required profile

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, resourceful and solutions‑oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Product Development, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field preferred; alternatively an Associate’s degree with 1+ year experience or 2+ years production coordination experience.
  • Familiarity with wholesale/import production processes and international shipping regulations is a plus.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with EDI processes.
  • Knowledge of product and inventory management systems (e.g., AIMS).
