Production Associate – Cylinder Processor

About the role

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is looking for a Production Associate to join its Baton Rouge plant. You will be responsible for processing, inspecting, and filling medical and industrial gas cylinders while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process and label gas cylinders according to plant guidelines.
• Conduct visual, physical, and odor inspections to determine retesting or repair needs.
• Operate the cryogenic liquid filling system and cylinder scales.
• Load and unload product from the weekly shuttle truck.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders, enter shipment data into the computer system, and maintain inventory records.
• Operate a forklift and other plant vehicles as required.
• Complete and maintain quality‑control documentation in line with company and governmental procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 lb.
• 1+ year experience in a plant or manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Strong organizational, listening, and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, honesty, and integrity.
