Product Designer – Residential HVAC Systems

About the role

As a Designer at Trane Technologies you will join a high‑performing product development team focused on residential split‑system HVAC products. You will be responsible for creating and documenting equipment and system designs that meet customer requirements while supporting the company’s sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and design HVAC equipment and systems using CAD tools.
• Create parts, assemblies, and layouts in Creo Parametric.
• Produce and maintain design documentation and product lifecycle management records.
• Develop concepts for new and improved commercial HVAC products.
• Solve complex technical problems and ensure designs meet performance standards.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with global engineering and product teams.

Required profile

• Strong background in CAD design, preferably with Creo Parametric.
• Experience in product development engineering for HVAC or related mechanical systems.
• Ability to work effectively with international, cross‑functional teams.
