Process Engineer – Production Engineering Specialist

About the role

Join Nestlé’s Jefferson manufacturing hub, a historic plant that produces beloved pet‑food brands and supports community shelters. As a Process Engineer you will implement, control, and optimize manufacturing processes and machinery to meet production targets while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze loss data to prioritize projects and develop technical mastery of core production processes.
• Initiate and lead process or equipment improvements to increase throughput, reduce scrap, improve quality, and eliminate losses.
• Conduct problem‑solving using FMEA and Six Sigma methodologies, mobilizing resources as needed.
• Participate in design, commissioning, and startup of new equipment and processes.
• Create and improve standards that sustain high‑performing production and support training programs for operators and technicians.
• Collaborate with technical experts, other functions, and factories to replicate optimal solutions and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 3+ years of project/process management experience, OR an Associate’s degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing, military, or similar environment.

Required skills

• Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) tools
