Process Associate – Medicaid Enrollment (Tempe, AZ)

About the role

The Process Associate will support Medicaid enrollment operations for Infosys in Tempe, AZ. You will execute transaction processing, validate inputs, and assist with eligibility and enrollment tasks while ensuring compliance with state regulations and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Process eligibility exceptions such as enrollment file errors, ID card generation errors, PCP assignments, and 834 enrollment files within required state/regulatory timeframes.
• Perform Coordination of Benefits (COB) eligibility processing to maintain accurate enrollment data.
• Support newborn enrollment functions, including call‑center coordination, claims verification, PCP assignment, and mass member moves.
• Assist with special projects and maintain integrity of eligibility tasks.
• Conduct external phone calls to other health insurers to determine primary payer.
• Prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to meet regulatory requirements and SLA targets.
• Provide knowledgeable responses to internal and external inquiries regarding eligibility, ID cards, and primary care provider selection.
• Reconcile eligibility data with state agencies and document all transactions.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 0‑6 months of relevant experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to review documents for accuracy, compile data for reports, and compose correspondence.
• Decision‑making capability and ability to balance workload with peers and supervisors.
