Private Equity Investment Analyst – NYC

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Investment Associate to join our growing lower‑middle‑market private equity firm in New York. The role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing deals to supporting portfolio companies, within a collaborative and fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and execute lower‑middle‑market investment opportunities.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation modeling and rigorous due diligence.
• Assist in transaction execution, including term‑sheet preparation and closing activities.
• Support portfolio company management teams on strategic initiatives and value‑creation projects.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or as a private‑equity analyst.
• Experience at a top‑tier investment bank or comparable advisory environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Early‑career professional eager to grow within private equity.
