Senior Director of Finance

About the role

Noodle is looking for a results‑driven Senior Director of Finance to lead financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support across the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will partner with senior leadership to strengthen performance, improve forecasting accuracy, and ensure scalable financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, supporting business cases for new programs, partnerships, pricing, and capital allocation.
• Prepare board and executive materials in partnership with the CFO.
• Provide insights on revenue performance, margin optimization, cost efficiency, and investment prioritization.
• Deliver timely monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning processes.
• Develop financial models that guide resource allocation and strategic initiatives.
• Strengthen financial systems, processes, and internal controls to support scaling.
• Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
• Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and data integrity improvements.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 10‑15 years of progressive experience in corporate finance or FP&A, including leadership roles.
• Experience in investment banking, private equity, or advanced financial modeling is a strong plus.
• Background in startup or high‑growth environments.
• Advanced financial modeling and strong analytical capabilities.
