About the role
The Primary Care Physician provides independent, comprehensive care to veterans, addressing both routine primary‑care needs and subspecialty evaluations. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) and may include relocation or recruitment incentives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality primary‑care services to assigned veteran patients.
- Perform subspecialty evaluations and coordinate treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with VA policies.
- Participate in continuous education and quality‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- U.S. citizenship (non‑citizens only if no qualified citizens are available).
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an approved school.
- Full, unrestricted state medical license.
- Completed residency training in an ACGME‑ or AOA‑approved core specialty leading to board eligibility.
- Eligibility for board certification or equivalent experience as defined by VA standards.
Required skills

- Residency training in an accredited program.
