Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Family Medicine

About the role

Fenway Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Primary Care team in Boston. This full‑time position provides trauma‑informed, patient‑centered primary care to a diverse population, with a strong focus on health equity and LGBTQIA+ health.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient‑centered, trauma‑informed, and affirming primary care across the lifespan.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of providers, nurses, behavioral health clinicians, and care coordinators.
• Champion equity by respecting and affirming each patient’s identity and lived experience.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to an integrated model that includes HIV services, behavioral health, and gender‑affirming care.

Required profile

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensed (or license‑eligible) in Massachusetts.
• Commitment to high‑quality, culturally competent care in a fast‑paced community health setting.
• Passion for serving LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other historically underserved communities.
• At least two years of clinical experience in community health, public health, or trauma‑informed care (highly valued).
• Strong dedication to team‑based care and a mission‑driven environment.
