Preschool Teacher Assistant – Full Time

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher Assistant to join its team of caring educators. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in delivering Cadence’s research‑based curriculum.
• Document and share daily milestones and observations with parents.
• Enhance children’s play with language, toys, and age‑appropriate activities.
• Maintain a safe classroom by intervening when necessary.
• Model and encourage socially appropriate behavior.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan balanced daily schedules.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Meets all state preschool teacher‑assistant requirements.
• Flexible and willing to work within business hours.
• Previous experience as a teacher assistant or in a licensed daycare is preferred.
