Porter – Riverside Station

About the role

The Porter at Riverside Station ensures the community’s physical environment is clean, safe, and well‑maintained. Working closely with the service team, the Porter supports daily operations, enhances curb appeal, and assists residents with basic service requests.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris, pet droppings, and keeping amenities tidy.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process and maintain storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests as directed by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and aid the make‑ready specialist.
• Change locks according to property policy and verify that pool gates function safely and meet code requirements.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance‑related complaints.
• Follow Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, attend safety meetings, complete required OSHA training, and report accidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces.
• Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and willingness to follow safety protocols.
