Plant Controller

About the role

The Plant Controller leads all financial operations of the Lincolnton plant, ensuring alignment with Bosch policies and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting. This role acts as a strategic business partner to plant leadership and interfaces with Bosch’s European headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and communicate financial performance, including detailed variance analysis versus plan.
• Partner with plant leadership to understand root causes, drive corrective actions, and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Drive plant cost performance across direct labor, materials, and overhead.
• Lead and develop a highly motivated finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support legal entity reporting requirements and provide strategic insights for operational and commercial decision‑making.
• Conduct proactive forecasting, risk identification, and opportunity analysis across the plant.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial controlling within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to partner effectively with plant leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams.
• Experience interfacing with corporate headquarters and handling legal entity reporting.
