Pharmacy Technician IV – 340B Program

About the role

The Pharmacy Technician IV supports the 340B program within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) pharmacy. This position ensures compliance with 340B regulations, assists with medication dispensing, and contributes to the overall efficiency of pharmacy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process and dispense prescriptions in accordance with UAMS policies and 340B guidelines.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for 340B‑eligible medications.
• Assist with documentation and reporting required for 340B program compliance.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, clinicians, and other healthcare staff to support patient care.
• Participate in audits and quality‑assurance activities related to the 340B program.

Required profile

• Current or former employee of the University of Arkansas System, including student employees and graduate assistants.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow regulatory guidelines.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with clinical and administrative teams.
