About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I on a PRN (as‑needed) basis to support the Cancer Institute Pharmacy. This temporary, fixed‑term position provides essential medication preparation and distribution services to oncology patients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, label, and dispense oncology medications according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of hazardous drugs.
- Assist pharmacists with compounding, verification, and documentation tasks.
- Provide concierge prescription delivery within the main campus pharmacy.
- Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and infection‑control standards.
Required profile
- Current employee of the University of Arkansas System or eligible graduate assistant.
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
- Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
