Part‑Time Childcare Provider (up to 6 hrs/week)

About the role

Provide loving, high‑quality childcare for infants through elementary‑age children while their parents attend transformational Christian classes and small groups at VRL. This part‑time position requires up to 6 hours per week and is paid at $17.13 per hour with no additional benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, nurturing care for children, including diaper changes and potty‑training assistance.
• Engage children in age‑appropriate play, crafts, snacks, and occasional lessons.
• Maintain a clean, orderly classroom and stock supplies as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents to support their children’s discipleship journey.
• Pray with children and speak into their lives as appropriate.
• Check children in and out following established policies.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with prior experience caring for children.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a heart for ministry.
• Personal initiative, diligence, and ability to follow through on tasks.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and attend VRL services and events.
• Commitment to the church’s values and ongoing spiritual growth.
